Grandma Poem

Milk

In Room 8 we had to put on moustaches and take a photo because it was Milk Around the World Day so everybody had to take a photo and I took mine. We are so lucky to have milk and Room 8 really enjoy's drinking it so I thank Fonterra for giving us this milk.

In Room 8 we had to choose a book from the library and do six activities which one had to be a vocabulary activity and this is my slideshow and I hope you like it.

This girl is admitting that she broke the line of the ancient ones and that it just happened. No one knew that she was going to be born so she is saying this speech and that's not all she was not the leader her grandfather was expecting and she was the one tho and everybody is not the same girls and boys can do the same things that what she is passing her message around. Don't think boys are stronger than girls because everybody can do what they want.

Maths

In Room 8 we are learning about 3D shaped and we had to cut out some paper and label it and I have a cube and a triangular pyramid and the cube has 6 faces 7 edges and a triangular pyramid has 5 faces and 6 edges.

To Dee Dee Sharp,

I am from the future and am curious about what it was like in the sixties. I have seen video clips of music and dancing (mashed potato) I have noticed a few things. The clothes are bright and colourful, the hair is long and the girls wear a lot of make-up. I have also noticed there are lots of patterns and designs on clothing.

I wanted to ask you about how it is in the sixties so I will tell you my first question back in the sixties, how was the singing would you sing it up live or record it and lip sing I heard you sing it live but I want to hear from you…

I notice that your clothing is really different to what we were now and I just love and my favourite is the Bell bottom pants and the baby doll style there both very cute and lovely too.

I also wanted to ask you about the music like is it like image drum do you edit it like the noises or like instrument do you play I really want to know that answer because I love hearing about the sixties because it is just so interesting.

Against animals in Captivity

             Against animals in captivity

  I wholeheartedly believe that animal shouldn’t be kept in captivity. It it is sad and very cruel you get separated from your true family and you get locked and kept in a cage and most of the family has feelings for them so very sad.

Firstly because animals need to be with real nature and find the food they really want from trees and if you go to zoos that time they want to give food and only give it when they want so they get hungry and die sometimes.

Secondly I strongly believe that animals should be in the wild so they can explore there way out and make new friends and be happy, and wild animals have there own value and need to be free.

Thirdly animals should be in the wild because they should be with their family and if there in the zoos they would be miserable and sad thinking of there family they would be worried.

Finally animals should be in the wild because animals held in cages and not able to be free causing the animals depression and keep on thinking of there family. I beg you to consider that animals should be in the wild with there true family for there whole life so make sure you let them live

please.

Sixties Discription

WOW!!! Yesterday we had to make this costume. We designed it first on paper, and we also had a few choices that we needed to choose but we managed to have a few Ideas and make it as one. The next step to do was get your mitral our teacher for each group gave 2-meter long sellotape I few newspaper and scissors. Then we got started so we go the newspaper and put it around the model as you can see then we did it again and stuck with the tape we started to do the strides for the model the I did a pretty bow cute and ready Everything went fine like the strips and stuff but then what did not go well was sellotape because we used to much on the front but then we did not have any for the shoes so no more sellotape left and one striped ripped so we got the sellotape from that for the shoes but did not work so we got the bow and put it where the stripe fell out and tucked it in so we ended up with no shoes and the time was up so we did our best to fix it and made it like nothing happened so it was ready for the show and I guess it turned out just fine while our model showed her dress in front of the class.


 In Room 8 we had to describe what we did for the show and we had to write about how much sellotape and newspaper we got and design the costume so we had to write about that and I had so much fun doing and so I hope you like my Description.

Tigeres  Leopard will be very good at making a mess but would clean up her mess,  Tigeres  Leopard has been awarded for the best unicorn horn. Everybody would love to look at her especially at night because her eyes would glow. She would be a good animal because one she is attractive, two she has a good sense of smell.  she can sense if something bad will happen. I think she would be an alerted Tigeres  Leopard.
